Naval architects, marine engineers and captains are involved in supervision, upgrading and refitting.
Sovereign Sea Hermes cooperates with all the experts who can advise you in every aspect regarding the refitting of your yacht. Naval architects, noise and vibration specialists, experts in painting works and engine room layout, interior and exterior designers, steel handling and aluminum experts will provide you the most productive ideas for a yacht of your dreams. We will also advise you on the flag of registration, classification and other regulatory aspects of your yacht that occur after the refit.
The process involves, initially, the preparation of a clear contract, outlining specifications, schedule and budget. Following the above, and before our dedicated experts begin the work, our own naval architects, engineers, and outfitters will convert their sketches into working drawings, specifications, shop orders, and schedules, applying the latest technology and computer programs.
A refit often involves critical work on steel or alloy structures. We employ only highly experience subcontractors, the personnel of which are certified in all types of welding on steel and aluminium. Our experienced electrical subcontractors will rebuild every system that uses electricity, from bridge to entertainment, according to applicable rules and requirements of class and flag administration. The same applies on carpentry works, where details and precision ensures a faultless finish that satisfies even the most demanding client. Painting, teak decks, furniture and all other finishing works are undertaken carefully and according to highest yacht standards ensure an immaculate result.
