Naples to Monaco

8 Days
DAY 1
Sorrento
This gateway to the Amalfi coast has an unspoiled old quarter and a lively main shopping street with a spectacular cliff side setting. Sorrento is best discovered by the sea: profit to visit its hidden caves and rocky coast.
DAY 2
Capri
The magical island of Capri has charmed visitors for centuries. Great Roman Emperors to famous playwrights and Hollywood legends have all found themselves drawn to Capri’s sheer cliffs rising out of the Tyrrhenian Sea. Capri travel is a luxurious escape from the mundane.
DAY 3
Ponza
Ponza has a long and fascinating history dating back to pre-Roman times. It has beautiful beaches, interesting geography and ancient ruins. The island has few foreign visitors and so has managed to remain almost exclusively the haunt of Italians.
DAY 4
Porto Vecchio
On the next day, we will set course for Porto Vecchio, an attractive old town sculpted on to a dramatic hilltop, with views across its own deep bay and its small harbour below. Porto Vecchio grew up around its 16th-century citadel, and the rampart restaurants offer splendid views.
DAY 5
Porto Cervo
Porto Cervo is the famous millionaire’s playground of the Costa Smeralda that was created by a syndicate headed by the Agha Khan. It is a popular tourist attraction and the destination of the international jet set. One can choose among the many beautiful beaches and small islands with their crystal-clear water.
DAY 6
Bonifacio
We will reach Bonifacio just in time for dinner. The town is dynamic with many bars and restaurants. Going ashore in Bonifacio will be a delightful experience. Wake up the next morning so you can take in the amazing scenery. Not to be missed, the spectacular journey through the Straights of Bonifacio. A narrow entrance hidden at the foot of cliffs opens into the harbour of the ancient fortress town.
DAY 7
Ajaccio
We will drop anchor close to Ajaccio for swimming, then in the afternoon we will move on to the port. The birthplace of Napoleon, breathes elegance and sophistication within its pastel-shaded rainbow of pavement cafes, promenades and gracious squares.
DAY 8
Calvi
The morning you will wake up in the Bay of Calvi. Corsica is spectacular. The mountains tower over the bays and reach heights in excess of 2000 meters. Calvi with its colourful array of buildings, cobbled streets climbing up to a Genoese Citadel and a pine fringed crescent of silver sand stretching as far as the eye can see will delight all on board.
